⚽️ So close and yet so far against Swedish opposition for The New Saints in the UEFA Conference League
MD4 in the league phase of the 2024/2025 UEFA Conference League, saw The New Saints hosting Djurgården, who finished fourth in last seasons top-flight Swedish Allsvenskan.
The champions of Wales certainly held their own, and all that separated the sides, come the final whistle, was a goal for the visitors four minutes before the break.
The defeat means that The New Saints now drop out of the play-off places in the table but, with two games still to go, it might be down but it most certainly is not out.
