When they hear that their parents have not only broken up, but their mom intends to marry someone else, two young children (Ethan, played by Ethan Embry and Haillie, played by Thora Birch) set out to derail the new relationship, and get their parents back together.
Of course, in true Christmas movie fashion, they succeed.
Lauren Bacall plays their grandmother and Leslie Nielsen is Santa Claus.
