🎣 Chub fishing on the River Severn and at least I’m not a blanker
Although I didn’t get to bed until after 2.00 a.m., nevertheless I was still up nice and early, but not to go fishing
Instead, I completed the post-match media from the game that I had been at.
Then, I went shopping with my wife, followed by eating some of the food (wraps) that we had bought, and then loading the car to go fishing.
I enjoyed my chub session on the middle River Severn a few days ago so much, I decided to return.
The river was normal level, it was a mild day and, as I cast out and settled back, I felt confident.
A few casts in, I caught a minnow. At least I wasn’t a blanker.
Although I had plucks from small fish, I didn’t get anything on the bank at all.
I fished for 4.5 hours, two of them in the dark.
