⚽️ Four goals and three points for The New Saints at Jenner Park, as the retaining of the Cymru Premier title remains on track

Following on from victories at Aberystwyth Town (4-2) and Connah’s Quay Nomads (2-1), The New Saints made it a hat-trick of wins on the road this week, with a 4-1 at Jenner Park against Barry Town United.

The hosts were very well organised and the deadlock was only broken in the 31st minute, when Danny Davies found the back of the net.

Ash Baker scored the second and then the Linnets equalised, but a goal from Declan McManus right at the end of the first-half ensured a comfortable cushion come the break.

A superb strike from Leo Smith wrapped up the victory, secured the three points and ensured that the retaining of the JD Cymru Premier title is still on track.

Joining me on TNS TV was Tim Johnson, a Barry Town United fan, who is also a big supporter of Welsh football in general.

He has been to a game in every single one of the 55 UEFA Nations.

He completed the list when The New Saints played in Kosovo a few years back, and I took the opportunity to interview him about his own personal journey in the beautiful game.

Leo Smith signed my team sheet following the final whistle.

Next up is Shamrock Rovers in the UEFA Conference League.
