🎣 Cold water, cold toes and a very slow start to the day on a small pool
Although the prawn after perch fishing has slowed down considerably in recent sessions on the pool that I’m fishing, nevertheless this morning I thought I would continue.
Apart from being up for the challenge, it suited me anyway, as far as time and schedule is concerned today.
Regardless of whether I catch or not, a couple of hours of my life sitting by water watching a float is hardly wasted time any way, is it?
I had a couple of enquiries and you can see my thoughts on those in the video. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a third bite of the cherry.
With the fog descending, it became colder as the morning wore on and for the first time in a while, my toes were cold. A sign that winter is on its way.
The pool itself was very quiet, with just two fish topping in the couple of hours that I was there.

Two ravens, calling in flight, tree top level across the pool.
