⚽️ A narrow Dublin defeat for The New Saints in the UEFA Conference League
Although Jordan Williams scored in the 14th minute of the MD3 encounter with Shamrock Rovers, by half-time the Irish side were 2-1 ahead.
With no other goals in the second period, it meant that the League of Ireland side picked up the three points.
There was lots of media stuff going on, which is great.
I love the European games and, being in the league phase for the first time, means everything is on the next level.
It was great to see Zoë and Finn from Northern Ireland at the game.
We played Ballyclare Comrades earlier in the year, where I first met Zoë, who is a lovely lady and looks after the club’s media.
Her son, Finn, fell in love with The New Saints, hence they travelled from Belfast to be at the match.
They met lots of people from the club and everyone made them very welcome, which was fantastic.
