🇮🇪 Travelling to Dublin with The New Saints, the journey and player banter
It’s been a long and busy few months with The New Saints, as the European adventures – on top of the domestic campaign – have taken in ten games so far.
The 11th UEFA fixture is a Conference League encounter with Shamrock Rovers, hence the visit to Dublin.
I enjoy travelling and the flight from Manchester was such, in terms of time, that it takes me longer to drive to Park Hall, even if I include the return back to England and double the flight time.
We’re staying in the Crowne Plaza, Blanchardstown, and I’ve been here before when I was invited by the Football Association of Ireland to talk to the top-flight clubs about media.
Player banter? That’s an important ingredient in a positive dressing room and you can see some of that in the video.
