🍄 My eldest daughter and grandson encounter their first fly agaric
I recently posted a blog entry where I had been hunting – and successfully so – fly agaric, on one of our local golf courses.
My eldest daughter, Rebekah, and grandson, Tyler, both love the world of nature, so when she saw the video, Becky asked if I would take them both to see the fungi for themselves.
Therefore, after church, I collected them and we made our way to Penn Common.
It was the first time they have encountered the icon fly agaric and they loved the experience.
Tyler also went searching for other fungi species, as well as taking photos of trees on his mom’s phone.
When it comes to nature, he’s just like me when I was his age, in fact more so.
