⚽️ Behind-the-football-media-scenes as The New Saints beat Llangollen Town 16-0 in the Welsh Cup
The Welsh Cup is my favourite competition and I always look forward to the draw, hopefully from a groundhopping perspective to get an away fixture at somewhere that I’ve never been to before.
Entering the competition at round two, The New Saints were at home against Llangollen Town.
Even if it was a reversal though, I’ve already been to Tower Fields before.
It’s a very picturesque one as well, which is a common thing for grounds in Wales.
It was a David versus Goliath encounter, with The New Saints the current reigning champions of Wales and the visitors in fourth place in their third-tier league.
On this occasion though it was the giant who triumphed, as we won 16-0.
