🎣 No wind, no rain, nor winter’s cold can stop me, because, if you put your mind to it, there ain’t no mountain high enough and Bayside Radio

What a difference a day makes, as I set off for a small pool; there was no wind no rain and no winter’s cold, as was the case just twenty-four hours previously.

I still went fishing anyway yesterday and, I certainly did the same this morning.

It was nice to get back on track with the perch, and I was more confident this time being in a different place.

Yesterday’s conditions meant that I was very limited where I fished, but today it was a case of sky’s the limit.

I caught some nice perch and they can be viewed in the video.

Tackle, bait and tactics

Greys Prodigy TX 12’ rod. Shimano 3500M reel. Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.

Drennan 1.2g waggler. Drennan Super Specialist size 8 hook.

I fished one rod-length out in six-feet of water.

I loose fed prawns and fished prawn on the hook.

Nature notes while fishing

One ring-necked parakeet, calling in flight.

Lots of jay activity, at least two birds.

Bayside Radio

Once home it was time to do my weekly radio recordings with Jeff Pearson.

We do both fishing and Welsh football slots and some of the former is included in the video.
