⚽️ Behind-the-scenes as The New Saints lose 2-1 to Caernarfon Town
It was a very disappointing evening for The New Saints, losing 2-1 to Caernarfon Town at Park Hall.
Although a great finish from Leo Smith put the reigning JD Cymru Premier champions 1-0 up in the 12th minute, nevertheless the visitors came back to equalise in the first-half, and then find the net for what proved to be the winner late in the game.
It means that we have now lost three out of four league games which is unheard of, as far as The New Saints is concerned.
It’s a seemingly contradictory situation because we’re also enjoying the most successful spell that the club has ever had, currently still competing on the European stage.
Perhaps the latter is why the former isn’t on track at the moment.
