🐦‍⬛ The first deep clean of the year for the bird feeding station

I enjoy feeding birds in the garden and in fact, as soon as we moved in, I established a feeding station from day one.

Every day I not only top up the various seed, pellets and nut feeders but give them a basic clean.

Plus, once every three months, I give the station a deep clean.

I empty all the feeders and give them a good scrub in boiling water.

Afterwards, although they may still look weathered, all the feeders are as good as new, as far as hygiene is concerned.

Today was my first deep clean of the year and while the work was going on, it was interesting to watch birds land on the station and wonder where all the food had gone.
