🎥 Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
Edmund Gwenn is Kris Kringle, who is hired by Macy’s Doris Walker (Maureen O’Hara) and tells people he really is Santa Claus not just someone who plays him.
Doris is unhappy when her daughter believes him because she doesn’t want her trusting in fairy tales.
Kringle ends up in court on trumped-up charges of assault but he is cleared and is declared to be Santa Claus.
Meanwhile, Doris’ daughter, Susan (Natalie Wood), has her wish of a new house answered and the thoughts of everyone turn to Kris Kringle.
Is he really Santa?
