🎣 Roach fishing on a pond to start the day
I’ve done a number of pool sessions on the bounce, I’ve enjoyed them very much indeed, and that’s where I returned to this morning.
The conditions were very grey, murky and overcast. However, as I so often say, don’t worry about the weather but just go fishing anyway.
How much you feed at this time of the year is a very important factor though, and so I put out a small amount of brown crumb and maggots to start with, and then fed according to the bites.
It wasn’t exactly a prolific session but, nevertheless, the fish were out there and so an occasional trickle of feed was the way to go.
Roach with my target and that’s what I caught, albeit just two, although definitely both nice fish when you take the venue into account.
