🩺 🎣 What a difference a day makes and two out of three ain’t bad

Twenty-four hours previously, it was a struggle to get out of bed, never mind go fishing.

However, I pushed myself and did both.

This time round, although I’m still not feeling 100%, it wasn’t even an issue.

Of course, there are times when you can’t push on, and we need to recognise that.

However, sometimes we give up too easily.

Back on the lake where I’m currently pursuing tench, it was a chilly (relatively speaking) start to the day, with the sun blocked out by clouds.

Before I left home, it was nice to see a female great spotted woodpecker on the feeding station in the garden.

We usually get a male several times a day and yesterday he brought a juvenile with him.

I fished a grain of corn over brown crumb and sweetcorn at twenty metres and you can follow the session in the video.
