🎣 You can never have too much of a good thing
Fishing in the morning and likewise in the afternoon.
You can never have too much of a good thing.
For the second session of the day, I was on a pool float fishing towards a big bed of lilies.
I fished two white maggots over brown crumb and red/white maggots.
I banked a few tiny perch, and had three roach come off all in quick succession, but then it went quiet.
I suspected that a pike had moved in.
Then it was back on track again, with roach.
Assuming I had connected with another silver when the float dipped and I struck, I very quickly realised that it was a decent carp on the end.
It went on a run and ping, that was that.
For about an hour and a half, it was an eventful session.
