📻 ⚽️ 🎣 Radio, work and fishing on the upper Severn

📹 Footage from home, work and fishing

It comes round very quickly, and this morning I did my weekly Bayside Radio chats with Jeff Pearson.

We talk both fishing and Welsh football which go out later in the week on his afternoon show.

Immediately afterwards, I went to Park Hall, where I spent a couple of hours or so and then headed to the upper Severn.

I returned to the exact spot where I had been on my previous visit to that section of the river.

The conditions were good, with the river at normal summer level

I mixed brown crumb and maggots and threw small balls in mid-river at regular intervals.

I had a bite every single cast, which were mostly small chub, apart from the brown trout that you can see in the video.

It was an extremely warm day, but I was thinking to myself, in a few months time it will be chilly, as we head into winter.

That’s why you just get on with whatever nature throws at you, as far as conditions are concerned.
