🎥 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
April O’Neil (played by Judith Hoag) is a journalist investigating a crime wave on the streets of New York City.
She gets caught up with a gang of vigilantes, who turned out to be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In a brilliant twist, which you discover at the start of the movie, she actually released the four turtles and a rat (Splinter) when the laboratory that her father worked at was on fire.
After releasing them in the sewer, as a young girl, she never thought anything else about it, but they turned out to be the heroes of the day.
The owner of the lab, although he tries to pretend that he’s a good guy, actually he’s not.
Along with the turtles, April O’Neill set out to thwart the plan to poison and kill the people of New York City, and then offer an antidote so that the death and destruction does not spread further.
