🎣 Back fishing on the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal, the benefit of made-up rods, the use of a plummet and presentation
I enjoyed yesterday’s session on the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal and that’s where I headed for this morning.
I fished in a different spot to the previous session, this one being closer to a bridge, where the canal widened.
Thirty minutes in, as per the previous visit, I knew it was going to be tough as there was no sign whatsoever of any piscatorial life.
When you don’t even get tiny roach topping, then you know that you are up against it.
In the two hours that I was there, that certainly proved to be the case, because I didn’t even get a bite.
It was a horrible, murky day though and even late morning, when I arrived home, the air temperature was only 2C.
Although no fish on the bank, the video features the swim and a look at the benefit of made-up rods, the use of a plummet and presentation .
