🎣 The river levels website, fishing the Stour and Welsh was spoken
I fancied visiting the local River Stour – which flows through Staffordshire and Worcestershire – and so, first thing on Sunday morning that’s exactly what I did.
The last time I fished there was January this year, where I registered my first blank of 2025. On my return though, I had plenty of action, with mostly gudgeon on the bank plus a couple of roach.
As always, you can follow the session via the video, where there’s more on the extremely useful river levels website and the story about Welsh being spoken.
As far as the natural world was concerned, there were resident – and very noisy – ring-necked parakeets in the immediate area. On the way back to the car, a chiffchaff was singing in trees on the bank.
