🎣 A change is as good as a rest, with a short afternoon session on a small pool
With a combination of playing football yesterday evening, going to bed after 1.00 a.m. and heavy rain first thing, I decided to visit a small pool later in the day. The session was just short of two hours.
I enjoyed getting out of bed at 9.00 a.m. and it’s the first lie-in I’ve had in a long time. In fact, the rest of the day has been an easy one, which I like to do from time to time.
With showers still occurring, I knew it would be quiet, especially now that the school summer break is a couple of weeks behind us. It’s still very mild though, which means that the water temperature is holding up nicely.
You can follow the session via the video, which saw both perch and roach on the bank. Following the final clip, I did go on to catch one more small perch right at the end.
