🎣 The Staffs/Worcs Canal continues to yield some quality perch
My body was exceptionally keen to go fishing this morning, so much so that I was like the child on Christmas Eve, who constantly stirs throughout the night and thinks to himself, “Is it time to wake up yet?”.
Eventually though, it was the appointed moment, and I was up at 5.42 a.m. and yes, it is is a random time, and no, it doesn’t have any significance.
Setting the alarm, as I scrolled the reel it stopped and I thought, ‘That’ll do”.
It’s still very mild and, although we’re closer to October than August, it certainly feels more like the latter than the former.
Long may it continue, as well, as the extended growing season is doing the garden a world of good.
Back to the angling though and you can follow the session via the video, where once again, I banked quality perch.
