🐸 My nature good deed for the day
While in the valley, I noticed frog spawn in what is basically a hole in the ground that has been filled by rain water.
Once the sun begins to dominate, the water will evaporate and the tadpoles – if it gets that far – will die.
I returned to the spot with a net and bucket, transferring the spawn to a safer location.
The valley is a stronghold for amphibians but there’s no harm in giving them a helping hand when you can.
