🎣 Early morning pool fishing

The reason I was up for the sunrise, that is recorded in the video, was because I was going fishing.

Getting up early meant I not only took in nature’s wonderful spectacle but I was on the bank at first-light to do some fishing.

On a small pool, I fished one rod-length from the bank, in five feet of water, over loose red/white maggots, with one/two white maggots on the hook.

I would describe the action as steady and, along with several roach, I caught a solitary perch.

From sunrise to bankside.
