🗣️ With six months of retirement behind me, the positives and the negatives revealed
When you’re having fun time flies, as they say, and it’s now six months since I took the step of retirement.
That’s enough time to look back and not only see the pros, positives and pluses but also to acknowledge the cons, negatives and minuses.
The positives:
Not having to go to work. Having said that, I’m open to one day a week if the right opportunity comes along.
Every day’s a holiday. No Monday blues or the highs when you’ve got a few days off.
The car. Just 2,880 miles on the clock.
Fishing every day. Say no more.
Being in charge of your own life. The freedom to set your own schedule.
