Blogging life’s journey: June 2025

🎣 Work, fishing, work

Although I’m retired, like a lot of people I do some work as well. In my case, I need to as I haven’t got a pension yet.

Therefore, I did a garden in the morning and, while I was there, a lady came and asked me if I could do hers later in the day.

Both are lovely ladies, by the way. I’m working for some very nice people and a lot can’t say that when it comes to work, can they?

Sandwiched in the middle, I went fishing.

It was a short visit to a pond and I caught perch and roach on maggot over loose maggots. Nothing big but lots of them.

Not bad either, considering it was early afternoon and it was incredibly hot.

Following on from yesterday’s heatwave blog post, we are now officially in that bracket.
