🎣 Up for the challenge on the Shropshire Severn
A sucker for punishment? Up for the challenge?
Which was it, as I returned to the same river, the exact swim and fished with identical bait and tactics.
Well, of course, I would say it was the latter, wouldn’t I?
Even the weather and the conditions were the same and, even though I had blanked the day before, so was my confidence.
I cast out, settled back and poured my first cup of tea.
It was an evening session, so prime time, and, although not my target, when the boilie rod tip started to dance and I netted a small chub, at least I wasn’t a blanker.
I then lost a big chevin, again on the lobworm boilie, followed by a second small chub on the bank.
