Blogging life’s journey: June 2025

🎣 The third River Severn session on the bounce, thoughts on angling secrecy when it comes to locations and some quality birds seen

For the third session on the bounce, I was on the Severn and in the same spot, with identical bait, tactics and general approach.

In other words, reading the two previous angling blog posts means there is no need for repetition on my part.

It was also an evening session and, on this occasion, I had to wait almost four hours for the first – and only – fish.

Caught on lobworm boilie, it wasn’t my target species, but nevertheless a decent chub.

It was another beautiful evening. It’s a great time of the year, isn’t it?

The thoughts on secrecy are in the video. I’ve always seen my blogging as encouragement and inspiration to plough your own angling furrow, as opposed to putting people in swims.
