✝️ It’s not selfish to look after yourself
This week’s Wednesday Words of Wisdom message from The Church at Hiraeth was inspired by my gardening.
Not just at my own home but also that which I’m doing for other people.
I’m working on some really nice gardens and it’s an honour to be let loose in them.
However, I’m not neglecting my own in the process. In fact, I’m very much aware of my own responsibilities.
Using that as a platform, the principle is don’t forget to look after yourself but, avoid become selfish in the process.
Ultimately, unless we’re in a good, positive place, we will never be able to be an effective blessing to others.
