Bronze goes for gold as the Lionesses roar into the semis and a tench session featuring Ian’s body and nearly Rich’s thumb
For the second evening on the bounce, I watched a game of football on television.
This time it was the UEFA Women’s Euro quarter-final between Sweden and England.
It was an exciting match that went right to the penalty shootout wire.
Not sure it was a case of England winning it on penalties though, more like Sweden losing it.
However, I’ll take the victory.
I’m looking forward to the next game now, versus Italy.
Up nice and early, I was back on ‘the tench lake’.
Fishing with corn over brown crumb at 25 yards, I caught tincas and roach.
You can follow the session via the video, which features Ian Clarke’s body and nearly Rich’s thumb, plus the biggest tench of the morning.
