🎣 Tench fishing and The Curse
Following yesterday’s blank while after tench, there are two ways of responding to that type of outcome
First of all, the lake isn’t fishing very well, you aren’t the only one struggling, so ditch the venue and go somewhere else
Then there’s another alternative, the one which says keep at it and persevere because you know it will come good in the end
I do like a challenge and so it was the latter that I went for this morning.
It was my usual approach, fishing at twenty metres from the bank with a grain of sweetcorn
I also mixed maggots in with the brown crumb as well as loose grains of corn and there’s more on that in the video.
It was great to get a bite and even better to see the fish hit the back of the landing net.
Then Ian Clarke, otherwise known as The Curse, turned up and that was it.
