Aiming to become the first Welsh side to progress past the qualifying rounds of a European competition, unfortunately for The New Saints a 0-0 draw at home to FC Petrocub was not enough.
However, it’s not quite the end of the European road, as there will be a final bite of the cherry next week.
The opponent is yet to be confirmed, but The New Saints will be travelling next Thursday and then back at Park Hall a week later for the second-leg.
