🌄 🎣 Sunrises , fishing and blanks
I do enjoy a nice sunrise or sunset very much indeed.
I find that they are extremely aesthetically pleasing and I can sit there just admiring them for long periods of time.
Where I live is perfect, as not only are we facing the right way, as far as a sunrise is concerned, but also the geographical location of our home means that we get to witness a sunrise in all its glory, as the sun itself rises above the eastern ridge of the valley.
If a picture speaks a thousand words, then footage is even better, and you can see this morning’s sunrise in the accompanying video.
Then I went fishing.
The lake that I’m currently targeting for tench as been on a go-slow for a number of weeks now.
On this occasion, there was just one other tench angler on the venue.
I went through my usual routine of baiting the swim, casting out and waiting.
And waiting…
