🏴 In Barry and Cardiff, as Welsh League Cup final adventure begins
It’s the Nathaniel MG Cup (Welsh League Cup) final tomorrow and, as is the case with a south Wales game for The New Saints, we travelled the day before.
It’s a well-worn route from Park Hall that we take but it’s always nice to enjoy the scenery.
With TNS’ home pitch still affected by the sub-zero conditions, we trained at Barry Town United’s Jenner Park.
It felt like a European game, where we train on the pitch the day before the fixture.
From Barry we made the short journey to Cardiff, where we stayed at the Radisson Blu in the south of the city centre.
