Late family Christmas, television football and future plans
It’s always better late than never and that was most certainly the case as far as our family Christmas was concerned.
No getting together on either Christmas or Boxing Day but December 27 saw our daughters and grandchildren descend on our home for a couple of days.
We had a great first day eating, playing a game and just generally enjoying being together.
On the evening, while I watched Wolves beat Brentford on television, they all went for a night nature walk along the lane where we live.
I enjoyed my viewing and with a fox and a deer, they did as well.
Back to mine, I used to have a Wolves season ticket before I worked for The New Saints and I only gave it up because of the latter.
I honestly don’t know what the future holds but it’s certainly within the realm of options that, at some point, I’d take a job that would allow me to get back on track with my Molineux season ticket.
Or even retiring fully and following Wolves home and away.
We shall see.
It will be interesting to see how the future unfolds from a work perspective.
2024 could be a key year, if not then definitely the following one.
Enjoy the present but keep an eye on the future.
We all need plans of some description for the future, and especially as we say farewell to one year and welcome a new one, it is a time when we not only look back but also ahead.
