I enjoy overnight football-related stays and especially so when it’s a new place.
That’s the case this time as we (The New Saints) stay in Milford Haven, ahead of our game against Haverfordwest County tomorrow.
The video starts with the journey across Radnorshire.
It’s where my paternal Welsh roots are from and it’s always a great pleasure to be in the county.
Then we arrive at Tŷ Milford, which is a great hotel as Danny Redmond/Jon Routledge and Tom Jones/Reece Thompson go to their respective rooms.
Then, finally, there’s my room

Hi Stewart, I work in Aldridge and have seen and heard Ring neck parakeets regularly over the last few weeks, Also saw a flock of about 10 flying over near Walsall Arboretum (heard them first) very vocal birds. Nice hotel there Stewart, even though it resembles a maze inside, don’t know if I’d find my way out of there he he. And right by the marina too, lovely view, shame you can’t fish there, enjoy 😁 x

It’s great, it’s one of those places where I think to myself, I’d love to bring my wife here.
I slept with the curtains open, what a lovely sight to wake up to.
P.S. I found the flotels on my walk. Perfect fishing from the deck.
