Hawkeye And The Last Of The Mohicans 1957

I’m currently enjoying working through Hawkeye And The Last Of The Mohicans, which is a television series from 1957.

Set in New York’s Hudson Valley in the 1750s, it stars John Hart as Nat Cutler (Hawkeye) and Lon Chaney as Chingachgook.

It’s on TPTV Encore and there was just one series made, with thirty-nine episodes.

She says that she’s a changed person and Hawkeye gives her a chance but she’s still the same.

In the end, he gets her to confess that she’s tricking the natives for personal gain as they are secretly listening, which puts paid to the uprising.

He discovers that two traitor settlers are behind it all and they are brought to justice before war breaks out.

Hawkeye And The Last Of The Mohicans: Tolliver Gang

Episode 23. 1957.

He goes to extreme lengths, dressing up as a native to attack a settler and then getting the chief arrested.

It all comes good in the end.
