Three more tench sessions to go
Looking ahead at the rest of the week, after this one I’ve got three more tench sessions remaining before I say farewell to the species.
Out at the start of the day, it had a chilly feel to it.
Once the sun rose though, it was back to summer.
I fished on a lake over brown crumb and sweetcorn.
There are margins, a drop-off and then the venue gradually deepens, so in many ways it’s pretty standard.
The rig is revealed in the video, as well as the fish caught.
It was another short session, this time enforced as I went to church afterwards.
In the afternoon, I cleaned the car, spent some time in the garden and had a nap.
Then, in the evening I caught up with my blog posts, bringing everything up to date.
