🎣 I’ll definitely be back again… again
I was up very early, but the morning following a game is usually about wrapping up the post-media stuff, not fishing.
That was the case this time, with the five talking points article in particular written and shared.
Then we went to church, I went birding in the valley, cleaned the car and had an hour fishing up to dark.
The pool is where I had a hook part company with a decent roach on my last visit.
Lost fish can either deflate us or inspire us. In my case, it’s certainly the latter.
Although it was a very cold day, it was dry, and the area was busy with people enjoying the great outdoors themselves.
I do tend to avoid the general public when fishing but, if it means not going, well that’s not an option.
Flicking the float into water that was six feet deep, I caught my target, which was roach.
I might not have caught anything particularly big, but by going at least I had a chance.
Plus, although it’s good to get something decent on the bank, it’s also nice to just be out there as well.
I did connect with a big roach though, which I played for a few seconds before I lost it.
I’ll definitely be back again…again
