🎥 Way Out West (1937) starring Laurel and Hardy
A black and white comedy starring the classic duo, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, and the second one that Laurel was credited as a producer, along with Hal Roach.
Playing themselves, Ollie and Stan are sent to Brushwood Gulch to find Mary Roberts (played by Rosina Lawrence) who has inherited her father’s gold mine.
However, when Mickey Finn (played by Laurel and Hardy regular, James Finlayson) gets to hear about the fortune, he gets his wife to pretend she’s Mary Roberts.
In the end though, the real Mary Roberts is united with her inheritance.
Stars The Avalon Boys (who play themselves) and includes the song On The Trail Of The Lonesome Pine.
