🎣 The challenging run continues
The run of blanks has extended to four on the bounce, with another trip to a small pool proving to be fruitless.
I had a bite of sorts early on but the dip didn’t develop.
The pool was extremely clear and I haven’t seen it like that before, so I knew fishing was going to be difficult.
Bait was two red/white maggots over brown crumb and maggots.
The challenging run continues but never mind, there’s always tomorrow.

Greys Prodigy TX 12’ rod. Shimano 3500M reel. Maxima Chameleon 4lb line. Drennan 1.2g float. Drennan Super Specialist size 16 hook.
Nature notes: Three very noisy black-headed gulls landed on the pool. Two ring-necked parakeets in wood beyond far bank.
