🎣 Pond fishing, A landmark angling session and The shortest day of the year
Today’s session means that I have been fishing every day for a year. After returning home from a working football game in Slovenia twenty-four hours previously, I was out on December 21, and I’ve been every day since.
Today is also the shortest one of 2025. For those who don’t like the dark, cold and short days of winter, take heart. It’s all onwards and upwards from now on. In three months time I’ll be tench fishing. However, in the meantime, there are lots of other sessions to enjoy.
This morning’s trip to a pond – which was the same venue as one year ago – can be followed via the video. I caught predominantly roach but there was a perch in there as well, which tied in nicely with my pre-session thoughts in the kitchen.
