🎣 Talking fishing on the radio, followed by a very pleasant surprise on a pond
Monday seems to come round so quickly and, at the start of the working week I recorded my angling chat with Jeff Pearson for his Bayside Radio afternoon show.
The video begins with footage from our conversation, where we talk fishing as well as yours truly answering a few questions that are sent in by listeners.
It’s nice to talk about it but you can’t beat doing it and, after our thirty-minutes or so chat, I made a flask of tea, loaded the car with tackle and went fishing.
I’ve enjoyed my canal sessions of late very much, this time though I fancied a change, so a couple of hours on a pond it was. I arrived, cast out and that’s where the video above picks up.
I caught lots of small perch and I had a very pleasant surprise when I netted a bream. I’ve always got my eyes and ears open regarding the natural world and on this occasion the highlight was a raven calling in flight.
