The fishing, the radio slots and the garden
I started the working week on the bank, a pond to be precise.
I flicked a small waggler into water that was between two and three feet deep and fished two white maggots over loose ones that I trickled in.
There was a predator in the swim, which judging by the swirls, I would say was a small pike.
There’s certainly plenty to go at as far as the next six months are concerned.
I only had small roach activity on this session but they all count and, especially on ponds, you have to take everything into consideration.
Following on from actual fishing, I talked about it on radio, as well as Welsh football.
I’ve been doing a couple of slots for a while now on Jeff Pearson’s Bayside Radio afternoon show.
We record them in advance, with the fishing going out on Thursday (3.00) and the football a day later (3.15).
Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, I also did some gardening, including a much needed cut for the lawns.
I also spent time working in the passage area from the front gate to the back garden.
Even if I say so myself, it’s looking good now.
Stewart, you hit the nail right on the proverbial with “Godincidences”.
My wife and I are acutely aware of Godincidences throughout our 42 years together. He is why we live where we live.
Hello, Alan.
That’s brilliant and thanks for the encouragement.
