Sunday sermon: Coincidences or Godincidences, today’s church and future plans
“… and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV
I enjoy sharing a short Sunday sermon, which you can listen to via the video above, and I do get some good feedback.
It doesn’t beat going to church proper though and this morning I was a visiting speaker at an evangelical church in the Black Country.
I used to speak a lot in the context of being a guest preacher and I do wonder if that aspect of ministry will return.
We shall see. It’s been about six months since our old church folded and I’ve been very relaxed about everything, as things develop, evolve or otherwise.
I know you can never say never and all that, but I’m most definitely not interested in full-time and full-on church involvement.
The starting point is semi-retired and part-time, which I’m enjoying very much indeed.
Stewart, you hit the nail right on the proverbial with “Godincidences”.
My wife and I are acutely aware of Godincidences throughout our 42 years together. He is why we live where we live.
Hello, Alan.
That’s brilliant and thanks for the encouragement.
