My second session was a pike dead bait one on a pond
I had three runs but no fish on the bank.
Two of them were definitely pike, as they shed the hook right at the point of being netted, so I saw them.
It was a small venue though and the pike were just tiny jacks of about 3lb.
The third run, although I didn’t see the fish, was either from an extremely small pike or, most probably, a decent perch.
I only fish with one treble hook though, which means although you might lose more, it’s easier and therefore kinder, to the predators themselves.
Stewart, you hit the nail right on the proverbial with “Godincidences”.
My wife and I are acutely aware of Godincidences throughout our 42 years together. He is why we live where we live.
Hello, Alan.
That’s brilliant and thanks for the encouragement.
