In work for late morning, I did some fishing on the way

I enjoyed my recent short mini jigging session on the Montgomery Canal before work, so much so that I fancied another crack at the perch.

So, instead of tackle for the upper Severn – there’s plenty of time for that before next March – I travelled very light.

Working a 0.4g jig head and a one-inch rubber fish in the water, I was hopeful of at least a small perch or two.

However, I didn’t even get a pluck. It’s the way it goes sometimes.

I did look at the time and I realised half an hour had gone. I genuinely thought that I’d only been there for ten minutes.

Catch or not, time flies when you’re having fun.

  1. I managed £100 this month no complaints, i read that some of the £100,000 and £50,000 winners only had approximately £1,500 invested and that two winners only invested in July and won so they’ve been lucky.

    1. Nice one, Alan.
      They did well, didn’t they!
I guess that’s the way it goes, the way we are though is if we win what we do each month, we’re happy.
If a biggie did come along it would be a nice bonus but we don’t sit around in the meantime talking about what we’re going to do with non-existent winnings.
