⚽️ 🏴 Saints 2 Seasiders 0 as catch-up begins for the champions of Wales
JD Cymru Premier football returns to Park Hall
Due to the ongoing successful European adventures, domestic football has been very much on the back burner as far as The New Saints is concerned.
With no more UEFA games until October though, it’s catch-up time for the champions of Wales.
Although the other league clubs have played several more games, the JD Cymru Premier match against Aberystwyth Town was just the second league game of the season for TNS.
The Seasiders were very well organised and it wasn’t until the 59th minute, when Jordan Williams found the back of the net, that the deadlock was broken.
Adrian Cieslewicz then had the chance to double the advantage, but his penalty kick was saved.
However, into added time at the end of the game, Jake Canavan scored and that’s how the game ended, 2-0 to The New Saints, who moved into seventh place in the table.
The only team with a 100% start to the season, it’s looking good for The New Saints so far.
