🎣 Winter carp fishing and off the mark on my first session of the year
Variety is the spice of life – I’ve said that numerous times recently in regard to my own angling – and that is certainly the case in this particular session, when I went to carp fishing for the first time this year.
Although the water that I targeted isn’t rock hard in terms of pursuing carp, nevertheless fishing during the day on a cold winter’s afternoon, I knew that it was still going to be a challenge.
Therefore, when I had a pulled hook on a fish after just a few seconds of lifting into it, I did wonder if I would get a second bite of the cherry. I did. And you can see the result of that in the video. Just one fish but, as I so often say, I was on the right side of the line.
