🎣 Fishing in Storm Chandra: Hold on to your umbrellas, top hats and wigs
With Storm Chandra passing through the area, mostly overnight, but also into first light as well, I went fishing. At first light. I often write and say that you can’t allow the weather to dictate what you do. Those aren’t just words I speak, I live by the principle.
Having said that, whenever it comes to extreme weather, it’s always a case of safety first. I fished a particular pond, which is my go-to whenever there is a storm blowing through. I often use the phrase that ‘as long as your bait’s in the water, you’ve always got a chance’ and that was true on this session where I caught bream and roach.
